Let’s face it, we’re all kind of homebodies as new moms, especially when our babies are little! Every mom needs a pair of cozy slippers to wear around the house. I recommend getting a pair with solid rubbery tread.
I’ve got two great options for you. Ugg slippers are the obvious classic for a reason. They’re cozy, sturdy, and have a long lifespan. Certain styles are also really reasonably priced on Amazon (check out the above link).

For the sleep-deprived new mom (aren’t we all?)
It’s basically impossible to ignore the sound of your crying baby. As a new mom, the only way I’m able to relax and get some decent shut-eye is to turn on white noise.
This sound machine is the best one I’ve ever owned and here’s why:
(1) You can turn it up insanely loud. MUCH louder than the cheap one we have in another room.
(2) You can choose from a spectrum of white, pink, or brown noise. This matters because you can adjust it to mask whatever sound is keeping you from sleeping.

For the new mom who loves to cook (but doesn’t have time)
This is the best kitchen gadget I own. I would have paid 3x the price, that’s how much I love it.
You can literally chop or dice an entire onion in 5 seconds flat with this thing. It works for herbs, tomatoes, and garlic too.
There’s no power required: you just pull the handle a few times and a sharp blade spins around chopping everything up. When you’re done, you can stick the entire thing in the dishwasher.
For the new mom whose baby grabs her hair
These are SO good that you can feel comfortable wearing expensive earrings to the beach, I’m not kidding. They’re particularly useful now that I have a baby who’s always grabbing at my face and hair! They fit on all earrings and even work with screw-back posts.
For the new mom who’s always multitasking
It’s so nice to leave your phone on the counter and listen to music while you load the dishwasher… or stick your phone in the stroller while you catch up with family during a walk.

- Charcoal lemonade facial scrub: This is a yummy-smelling exfoliating scrub from a cruelty-free brand that I love.
- Deep pore cleansing mask: I always use this the day after doing the charcoal peel. I recommend mixing it with apple cider vinegar for best results. I’m not the only one loving this product… it has over 57,000 reviews!
- Moisturizing recovery mask for extra dry skin: There’s no better intensive moisturizer on the planet. This stuff is liquid gold. It’s really thick. You layer it on and let it absorb.
